Yesterday, we held a very successful event for bar and batmitzvah aged children. In the end we got 31 children which must be very close to 50% of the whole year. They learned a bit about the history of the Leeds' Jewish community and then had chance to have shwarma, sausage and chips! I will post a review (or 'press release' so I shall call it!) of the event very shortly.
At the end they got the opportunity to do a little quiz/ activity sheet on what they had learned. If you click here then you can have a look at the sheet. Why not have a go at it? Unfortunately, you will not get the free meal at "The Vine" or the 'Zavvi' voucher but you might have a bit of fun anyway.
